Role: SAS Programmer / Statistical Analyst in the pharmaceutical domain
Over-all purpose of the job
- Create SAS datasets of clinical data from Biometric databases; create status and efficacy datasets
- Create project specific macros and formats
- Create summary tables, listings and graphs as per statistical analysis plan
Responsibilities
- Serve as a contact with clients for programming aspects of clinical studies
- Review shell data displays for consistency and ensure that all Case report form fields are displayed on listings
- Ensure overall consistency of a project including macro definitions
- Debug programs and documentation
- Perform data checks as needed to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays
- Prepare documentation for programs and projects
- Maintain project directories on UNIX/Windows computer systems
- Ensure that final SAS output is in the correct directory
Requirements
- Proficiency in SAS
- Graduate/Post graduate with very good experience in SAS programming
- Working knowledge of the procedures of clinical programming is preferred
- Experience with using SAS on either UNIX or PC platform
